The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services into the community.
SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In an announcement, the agency mentioned it really is alarmed about the high amount of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This is often mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no completely functional office dedicated to service the area daily. The provider position developed for intervention activities a superior influx of likely beneficiaries, which makes it hard for the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.
“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to allow the servicing of all prospects and enhance access SRD to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
